P2 + P0300 = P0302?

Apparently there has been some miscommunication about the WORKS Flashing program.

As the very first tuner in the U.S. to begin flashing EVO ECUs (April '03), we have disassembled more factory code than anyone in the industry hands down. This is how we are able to control boost with the factory ECU (P2).

At this point in time, we are reliably able to provide Brain Flash P1 & P2 software for the '03, '04, and P0300 Mitsu reflashed EVOs.

In addition, all of them happen to be on sale for 10% off through Sept. 10th.

I have the p0300 reflashed ECU, but i still get p0300. Can your P2 flash fix the p0300?

Jamie, do we still have to go back to the dealer first for the p0300 or do you have a flash that works like the factory fix?

The dealer will need to load the P0300 flash onto the ECU. Once that is done, baby the car to us (since the ECU won't be controlling boost now) and we will integrate the P0300 with your previous Brain Flash.

I wish I could trust the dealership monkeys not to test driver her after the reflash.

Gonna hafta take out that damn tube aren't I?

How many has Works reflashed w/P0300 code and how many have had it return?

Thanks!

I would have them (the Dealer) do it while you wait and watch. It only takes about 15 minutes and specifically request that your EVO not be driven. Tell them they can start it just to verify the flash took but other than that, they don't need to drive it.

Or we can have the ECU reflashed for you for $50. Then we'll load our P2 upgrade merged with the P0300 reflash which is free of charge to all existing WORKS customers.

The $50 option wasn't presented to me when I called day before last. For the sake of the hassle it's worth it to me.

You CAN do it all then? I was specifically told I HAD to take it to the dealer first...

Thanks!

Oops. Foot in mouth. I guess I overstepped my bounds. Up until this point, it has been performed on a very special case-by-case basis. We charged a recent customer $50 and we will honor this price for you but this is NOT our regular price for this service. From this point forward, please contact us directly if you would like this service performed. Otherwise go to your local Dealer and then give WORKS a call.
