Help Tapping for Oil Lines(Turbo) and Oil Gauge Senders
So I'm rebuilding my car right now and trying to get it together asap. Mods are in signature. I;ve run into a slight problem.
I have defi gauges, and I have both oil pressure and oil temp. Originally, oil pressure was tapped at the oil filter housing. Oil temp is going to be tapped off the same area. Unfotrunately, the new oil supply line for the FP Red needs to be tapped off of one of these ports instead of the valvecover like the oem turbo. This means I can only tap either oil pressure sensor or oil temp sensor off of the oil filter housing. My question is, where can I tap the other sensor.
(A) I get a sandwich plate, but I would realllllly prefer not to do this. It lowers the oil filter too much for my liking, especially now that I put in the swift springs.
(B) Is there a way I could get a fitting for the valvecover. I don't even know if this is possible but can I use a banjo fitting at the valvecover (like the oem turbo line) and attach a female fitting to it so that I can screw the oil temp sender into there? Has anyone tried this
(C) Any other ideas????
The best plan I came up with so far is (B), but I dont even know if it's possible. Can I tap either oil temp or oil pressure from somewhere else? If so where?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

I saw another post about this a few months ago. Look on the driver's side of the cylinder head. There's two plugs...one is behind the thermostat housing, the other is in line with it behind the harness support bracket. Looks to me like they access the camshaft oil gallery. I didn't use them myself, but maybe someone else has.
