Problem with SRS light

So my SRS light came on a week ago and just wondering if there is anyway i can reset it or is it a sensor that i have to change?

As far as I know there is no way you can reset it on your own. Unless you have an airbags scanner which is very expense. I had the dealer reset mine when mine came on. Still under warranty so no charge

where in new jersey do you live possably my tatric cable can reset the code

Tactrix cable is only for the ECU. If you get it to work for the airbag module let me know.

Or some sort of obdII tool that has the cards to scan for the abs system. It can be a few different things.

I had a friend at a dealer use his specialized tool to clear mine.

It usually comes one when you unplug on of the SRS sensor plugs and plug it back without first unhooking the battery.

^^ that is how mine came on.

Does anyone know how much is going to charge to reset that light if you are not under warranty?

Going to need to be reset at a dealer. Some after market scan tools can clear them with the right add-ons.
