Steering wheel shaking with spacers.

I installed aftermarket wheels with 15mm bolt on Ichiba spacers (calipers clearance problem). Wheels are balanced and I still have a shaking steering wheel at around 70-80mph. Is the problem caused by spacers????What should I do???

I purchased those same spacers and have no issues with shaking, since they have the hub rings there should be a nice solid mount for the wheel. Do your aftermarket wheels have hubcentric rings to match up to the evo's hub? If not then the rings on the spacers are not doing you any good. Also recheck that your wheels are tight you probably would have noticed this already if they weren't but i did notice when I bolted these on that the studs that are mounted in the spacers weren't pressed in all the way so when I tightened my lugs down I felt the studs pulling through until they were seated completely.

Lots of fitment issues possibilities with spacers. Could be machined incorrectly, out of round, bad mating surface, could be causing the wheels to be bolted down off center, etc. Might be a lug hardware issue also. It's really the reason we try and stay away from them.
