quick camber question

i recently installed function/form type 2 coilovers on my ix. i come from the z community where camber was adjusted in the front by the camber arms so never messed with camber plates. the car is street driven for the most part. with the occassional auto-x here and there.

where is the best place to position these? i'd like to be close to stock specs as possible when i go in for alignment in a week or so.

i guess i'd like to shoot for maybe -1.5ish camber or so in the front?

Take it to a good alignment shop. Tell them what specs you want. For dail and some autoX, I would do 2* front camber, and 1 - 1.5 ish in the rear, with zero toe.

the front has a eccentric camber bolt from factory to increase the front camber.
but you really need to just take it to an alignment shop. theres no eyeballing or guessing for those camber plates

100% agree on getting a shop to do it. Stock toe I believe is spec'd at +- .08 deg front and rear (this is what the alignment shop told me), so I would go to 0 as the previous comments said.

For what you are doing I like the 2.0/1.0 Front/Rear deg camber idea. I run 2.5/1.5ish for a full track car. Stock (again this is what the shop told me) is 1.5-2.5 front, 1.0-2.0 rear.

Remember when you adjust camber though, it will mess with the toe also, so dont just bring it in then mess with the camber afterwards.
