AMS tuned 334whp/310wtq bolt-ons stock turbo
Had my car dyno tuned at AMS recently. Upgrades essentially match what their STX400 would be with the addition of a 3-port.
Exhaust
AMS widemouth downpipe
ETS high flow cat
Tomei Expreme Ti cat-back
Induction
AMS cold air intake (bumper location)
AMS upper intercooler pipe
AMS front mount intercooler
Other
Grimmspeed 3-port electronic boost controller
NEW TUNE 93 octane
My previous tune at AMS was 292whp/316wtq although this was done on their older Mustang dyno so not really comparable. At the time I only had a short ram intake, high flow cat, cat-back, and the 3-port.
OLD TUNE 93 octane
You can see from the shape of the curves though the newer tune has a flatter torque curve and stays strong at higher RPM's
From a butt dyno perspective the car picked up a lot of top end. The spool up feels slightly quicker and it pulls harder all the way to redline. It peaks at 25psi in 3rd gear and tapers to 18psi. I'm guessing that the cold air intake and FMIC allowed for a more aggressive tune due to friendlier temperatures, and the downpipe freed up some extra flow.
Every AMS tune I have ever had has been super smooth and easy to drive. (Ignore the choppy appearance of the dyno chart ,I think this was just an aberration in their plot)
