Fuel Line Recall Concerns
Hi guys,
I recently got the fuel pipe recall fixed on my car. On the drive home I'm hearing a distinctive click noise when I press the pedal...? (I'm driving a 2008 MR)
This sound only happens once when I press the pedal down. like a CLICK noise.
It almost sounds like the transmission engaging quite hard. But I can replicate the sound when I take my foot off and press down lightly. I might be paranoid but I am worried about taking my car back to the dealership. I swear everytime I take a car to a dealership in Canada they never come back the same.
Considering they had my car for about 7 hours. They were doing Hood Latch + Fuel Line + Front License Plate Mount.
*SIGH*
On the bright side I can actually open my hood now...... lol

It took them 7 hours to do that? That's pretty crazy. I don't know how to help you though; sorry.
Also, why would you want them to drill holes in an unmolested front bumper? I would rather pay tickets than put holes in it.

In Canada you will be constantly pulled over without a front license plate.
I'd rather not deal with the headache... lol

I always stay in person at the dealerships, I don't care if is a 3 hours work, I don't care if the pope is working on my car, in fact I stay in front of the work area, as near as possible, right on top of the red or yellow line. I know they hate to have customers like me. But is how this life makes me. Paranoid.
I remember ones a tech. guy took 5 quarters of oil. I ask to one of the tech. personal to check the oil tanks. Guess what?
Two of the quarters tank was 5w-50 instead 5w-30. The tanks look exactly the same from outside except for the number.
upssss!!!!----he said.

Now you guys are making me nervous. I scheduled my fuel pipe recall fix last week, but wasn't able to make the appointment. Apparently my local dealer only has "1 Evo tech" on its staff, hopefully he knows what he's doing.
