I think the car is very compelling and stock-for-stock, it could be the most capable car ever made in our vehicle segment and very fun to drive. However, the indications of it not being able to handle substantial power gains puts it out of my scope of interest.

I am sure we will see some high hp Focus RS' before long. It will be interesting to see how the twinster holds up.

Of course. We all have different goals. I used to want high-hp cars, back in the day. If i still did, I'd have the same concern. I have different priorities now and the RS lines up with them almost perfectly.
IF I were looking for another AWD, turbo-charged car, that is. If I didn't have my Evo, I'd be doing my best to find a way to score an RS LOL. Actually, if i didn't put so many miles onto my daily, then I think I'd still want one.

If the RS was available when I bought the Evo in November 2015, I probably would have chosen the the RS instead.

It bothers me that it isn't a "traditional" awd with a center diff but it's may well be the future.

Same here, i love the idea of that car and i was always fan of the RS. But that doesnt matter for the drama queens... lol
I am sure there plenty of silence Evo owners like the car too.
But acknowledge that, wouldn't make enoug drama for them.

Especially having come from the Evo world where the build limit bar is set pretty high.

errr....ok I was wandering where I should put this video, just been looking for a ford focus as a DD and I learn most of my stuff from these guys
