thanks for the input. stock crank/internals, and I believe buschur's scraper is designed for that. just hangs there then bolted on? and I'm assuming can't/won't move?

You already have a stock crank "scraper" baffle thing in there. You ubolt that, put the new piece on, make sure it clears (spin the motor by hand), if it rubs, bend it out of the way (it shouldn't rub) and your're done. It's pretty straight forward.

I guess I'm trying to gauge how "reliable" a crank scraper is.. if it can be bent, it can go the other way too?

Lol I think you officially take the cake for over analyzing things more than me, haha! bend it out of the way if need be (which most likely wont be needed for you anyway!) and forget about it. Its not going to bend itself the other way unless you bend it the other way or something hits your oil pan in which case your engine is prob toast crank scraper or no crank scraper.

What is going to hit it in order for it to bend? You have much bigger problems then a bent crank scraper if something reaches through your oil pan and bends it.

lolol. just sounded as if it were relatively easy to bend - if so, 280hp of crank spinning thick oil sounded like it could too? IDK! fine I won't worry lol

It's not that easy to bend. It will require a pry bar, or a least a decent screwdriver to do so.

Lol I'm just giving you a hard time; you know I aint got nothing but love for you you'll be fine bud as stated prior bolt it on 1/2" breaker bar on the crank turn the rotate the engine make sure nothing hits and bolt the pan back on. Well, of course scrape off the old RTV throw on a new bead of sealant and button her up!

Got mine driving agan notice that CEL dash light comes on under very light braking, like rolling up to a speed bump. But under hard braking it's fine. Still dont have my logger working yet so can't tell aside from the dash lights.
