Hope you don't get pissed. I got the same fogs as you. I hated the regular lancer ones and these ones looked way sick. Haven't had a chance to mount em up yet though cuz the cutting. Probably will toss them up Friday or Saturday when I get a chance.

yea man look good in all black. just a couple things off the top of my head.. black reflectors, exaust system def, and im thinking it might not look that bad with like some red calipers if u wanna throw some red in there.
vg's always looks good with black too, even tho they are useless on oz's, i think wangman had one that looked pretty sick.

Do your brakes black if you do them. Nig out the car, cuz I did mine red and they annoy the **** out of me now. That big *** red drum is stupid. Im going to do mine again black so they dont stick out. I agree with the rest of what he said for sure though

my calipers are white but i dont like the idea of painting drums.
im going to be driving my brothers gst while mine is down. Actually i came across an evo 8 head nearby for 600 bucks. I might pick it up, but first i have to see what else i need in order to get it to work with the g64 block.

I had heard you have to swap pretty much everything and most of it doesn't fit together. But thats just what I've 'heard'

well im reading up on club3g and theres a guy witha stock g64 block and stock 8 head and he only gained 12 whp but hes running an NA setup, and seems that his cam timing is off, from what ive read the timing needs to be adjusted a tad to get the head to work correctly. Im going to do more research but my swap is probably going down this weekend and im hoping to finish in a couple of days.

Did you cut any of the bumper to get the fogs to fit? Or did you just cut and mold the fogs?

Good luck! It'll be way sick if it all works out in the end.

I think he had to cut the bumper some. I haven't put mine on yet but from holding them up to the car it looks like you have to do a little trimming. bvasquez did you take off the brackets on your fogs? I was thinking I'll probably take mine off and zip tie them in the back to something and put a big *** ghetto bolt behind the fogs so they don't move. Did you take your bumper off to get them in?

yea we took the bumper off, and NO bumper cutting! all we did was trim the fog lights, and used a heat gun to bend them a little to shape better to the bumper. If i remember correctly i think we cut a cardboard to the shape of the hole in the bumper and then used the cardboard as a guide for trimming the fogs. I used the brackets it came with but we just found a way to make them fit. So im doing the swap This weekend!! im so excited.

Yea I was debating just jamming them in there and seeing what happens. I might trim the bumper a little bit. Can you fit piping for an intercooler behind that? I think Im gonna start working on the turbo and what not this summer, but I dont wanna take the fogs out, and Im not really into getting a new front end, I think the lancer bumper looks good.

Hell yea, make sure to shoot pix of the whole thing. Cant wait to see it done!

The relays and the plugs the fog lights came with did you have to do any modifications to the wires? Or were they just plug and play? My friend bought a pair and the wiring was kind of weird. Did you cut any of the connectors and just connect the wires??
