okay i have a question, i would really appreciate your help. I am running the evo 8 ecu, and a 2000 eclipse 4g64, i have a check engine light that is p0340 and p0335. i heard somewhere that the cam reluctor is different in the 2000 models? is this correct, and could this be the cause of the CEL. Also, could this hinder my performance? because so far the car doesnt feel much faster and i figured i would at least notice a difference.
ALso , i got an o2 sensor bung welded onto my header but they placed it on the 3 cylinder from the left, and it is about 2 inches from the head. Is this bad? will it still get an accurate reading

black rims with a red lip would be sick but I dunno about red rims. That might really throw off the look. Im debating springs, I wanna drop mine cuz that huge *** gap annoys the **** out of me on stock height. How much did you get yours for? Since I hear about everyone blowing out their stock struts with new springs I'll probably just save the time and most likely in the end money and get coils from the start.
I like what you did with your car so far! I tinted my side markers and it wasn't too hard, just make sure you double check masking everything off because I had runs on my yellow lancer

Thanks, im actually debating removing the OZ wing, i want to go with the clean jdm look. im not a fan of big wings.
My exterior looks okay to me, (for now),i LOVE the oz lip and the wheels are so light, im thinkking i might just get a 205/50 instead of the 195/60, and pick up some coilovers but this swap really put a dent in my wallet. I REALLY REALLY want to attempt a wire tuck on a lancer, ive never seen it done and it would be awesome to be the first one to do it. especially after the mess of wires i have now from the swap. a wire tuck will most likely be my next project.

Kinda looks pretty much the same, sounds a little deeper though, tone wise. Turn your ****ing signal off also. Unless of course you were merging onto the freeway right there. You should do a pull from 0 revving up to 6k and then I could tell a difference, but that seemed roughly the same, maybe a little faster, but I cant tell because you were already over 3k when you started and thats where my car accels faster ne ways.
yea my o2 sensor isnt working good because of where the exhaust shop placed it, today it burned out, so im gonna order some new ones and a new sensor then ill take a new video of a few pulls..
so i ordered some new headers and i will be doing a full exhaust while im at it. Also dm said that im going to need a retune since im using his flash but our elevation is so different, im probably running richer than bill gates. lame joke i know haha, but i hope the tune will get me the power i should have. Because my car is probably running at 60% for all i know. Ill be pulling my spark plugs tomorrow to see if im running rich or what. ANyone know an average price for an ecuflash tune on an evo8 ecu.
You should add up the cost of the whole swap because for na those are decent numbers, and if it can push decent numbers its something to consider. Only reason Im kind of gunning for the wrx is because Im debatting autocrossing with a couple of buddies from up here, yet all their cars are 300+ and obviously in a fwd thats just wheel spin. Id like to get the wrx and try to push around 400+ awhp and make it into a sleeper. We'll see though, if the swap isn't too pricy it may be something to consider, because the car is beautiful, just too damn slow for my taste.
