[QUOTE=02-Lancer-Es;8210446]Sorry 400 Whp still isn't very much of a sleeper , well at least here . The slowest guys here push about 450 but most of the people push about 700 Whp .

I wasn't referring to the power to make it a sleeper. I was referring to debagging it, taking off the wing, making it look sedanish rather than super sporty. Id like to build a car though to around 400 hp and Id be pretty content around that.

400 is alot for our little lancers.
Im probably going to stop at 250-300. then make it as comfortable and reliable as possible.
Im thinking of going with a megan muffler, ebay high flow cat, and custom 2.5' piping.

haha I didn't mean our lancers either. I was saying for a wrx. I wouldn't want a fwd car to ever push 400hp, that'd just be wheel spin galore.

Its a little bit faster. You definitely seem to be able to go much farther in 2nd than a 4g94. I have to usually shift around 45 from 2nd to 3rd or I redline if I remember correctly. When you gonna boost it?

well idk what to do. ive spent alot on this swap so i need to save up some money, then its either gonna be coilovers, or boost. but this engine has about 140k miles on it, so i might save up for a rebuild before i actually boost it.
Ill be going to the track tonight if i can figure out why this damn o2 sensor keeps throwing a code. Yea the gearing is cool, i actually kept the lancer gears, but theres no rev limiter, it was deleted by darkmitsu when he flashed my ecu, so i can take it as high as i want, but the power band is between 3500 and 5000. The swap isnt too bad to do, and you would learn tons about your car. I bet i could swap another g64 in, in about 4 hours.

UPdate

Okay I think i fixed the CEL, it sounds strange, but i never plugged in the rear o2 sensor because it is disabled in the ecu. Well now i plugged it in, and i have yet to see the Front 02 sensor code come back as of friday. Ill be getting tuned and dynoed next week. I cant wait, ill post my numbers as soon as i get back, this will be with intake, header, and 2.5'' catback exhaust.

nice looking car. like other have said i think you tint those side markers and reflectors, it will just add to the blacked out stealth look. and did you powder coat your rims? i'm looking into refinishing my rims

also i recommend falken rt-615 if your looking for a 205/50 tire. i've had two sets and love them

its funny that you say that because i actually raced a stock lancer tonight, and i lost by about 2 car lengths. Now beign that this engine has 30 more hp and tq. i should be beating him by at least 2 car lengths. i dont know what else to try at this point besides waiting until i can get tuned.
