MISOSLO's 02 OZ Rally Build
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...-oz-rally.html
You'd have to cut away at the steering wheel and make a mount for it. It looked like too much work, so I just unplugged it and left it off.
Next Modifications:
* OEM Evo Floormats
* Evo 8 Short Shift Kit
* 35% Tinted Windows
Not sure how I feel about the silver 10 spoke Enkei J10's with the lip or the 6 spoke Rota Grids. I saw a 6 spoke wheel with a lip on an OZ Rally yesterday and wasn't too much of a fan of it. I might just get a 10 spoke gunmetal wheel by Rota and call it a day.

Wheels all come down to personal preference. Personally, I think the grids look great on lancer. I really want some myself but just dont have the money for them. But rocking some 7 spoke wheels and think those look really good. Not sure i've ever seen a 10 spoke wheel on a lancer. I'd be interested to see what it looks like.
I was also wondering if those ebay depo headlights were just straight plug and play? I'm about to buy some and want to make sure that they are the ones that require wiring modifications because i dont want to have t deal with that.
The Depo headlights are direct plug and play and come with new lightbulbs. They aren't standard light bulbs for the projectors. No need to remove the front bumper to swap them out. One of the conectors on the harness was a pain to plug in, and fitment is slightly off on the sides of the headlights. Overall, it was worth it.
Purchasing an OEM Evo Short Shift Kit. Had to call up a couple places to find one since they're discontinued. It comes with a new boot, short shifter, and leather wrapped ball Evo shift knob. Also buying some new OEM Evo 8 floor mats. After that, it's a toss up between window tint and Evo rear seat conversion. I might get them both done at the same time by an upholstery/glass shop I've been to before.

Lancer M/T Performance Shifter Kit (MZ360070EX) came in today along with my OEM Evo 8 floor mats (ALN03XFB07). The shifter kit came with instructions which was neat for an OEM Mitsubishi part. It took awhile to install because I dropped a washer between the carpet and the floor, so I had to pull out my seat to fish it out. I then started to clean up the carpet under the seat, which added to the total time. The shifter kit comes with an Evo 8 leather ball shift knob, but it feels light, so I might stick with my Greddy weighted shift knob instead.
Windows will be tinted tomorrow. Haven't decided if I want to go with a 30% or 35%, but I'm leaning a bit towards 30% right now.
Evo 8 rear seat conversion is on hold for 3 weeks because it's at my friend's house and he just decided to go on a road trip around the country.
*Edit* Just bought a Perrin 4" Short Antenna cause the other short antenna I bought looks too skinny. FS if anyone is interested. Also have stock OZ Rally seats FS, but I don't have a box big enough to ship.

looking good man. post pics when you get it tinted. im also torn on whether i want to go with 30 or 35% I got my headlights today. And i had to give up because it was getting dark and still couldnt get the headlight to come out completely. its a royal pain to try and find the right angle to get those things out.
It's just a typical ebay header+downpipe actually. There's a couple different designs floating out there, but this one seemed to be the best in my opinion. Exhaust is just a Meineke axle-back hack job with an extra Megan N1 muffler I had lying around the house. It sounds ok, but it does have a bit of a metallic sound to it high up, which could be due to the stock resonator I left in. I also have a RRM high-flow cat. I kinda want to go straight pipe so my exhaust pops are louder. That's always fun, heh.
PS - I went with a 35% tint all around because they didn't have 30%. I kinda wish I went with 20% because it's see-through most of the time.

I might get an Eclipse Navigation Headunit next. I still haven't figured out if I want to swap over my Bazooka NOS subwoofer from my Montero Sport into the Lancer. After my stock tires go bad, I'll upgrade to 17x7 Gunmetal Rota Grids. It probably won't be awhile as I'm going to build a custom AR-15 next. I think I'm done building up the Lancer for the time being.
-PS the pics above are with 35% window tint. I wish it was darker.
*Edit* Just bought a Heatshield custom fitted sunshade for the Lancer

nice build so far, everyone says lose the wing, i say shoulda went with the evo 7 wing for that body style, i think it would compliment the "square-ness" of the 12-03 lancer body more so than the 8 wing.
I was going to do something similar to my ES, but i was posted away from home and bought my ralliart, so the wife would have a car for the kids, now i don't have as much money laying around for extremely frequent modding...
