MISOSLO's 02 OZ Rally Build
The Evo Recaro seats actually aren't bad for daily driving. They kinda hurt your back on really long road trips though. Luckily I still have my stock OZ Rally seats, so I might swap them out next time. I wish the Evo Momo steering wheel was easier to swap out as well so I could reclaim the Cruise Control functionality.
I thought my rear brakes were bad, but so I took it to the Meineke for an inspection and it turns out my front brakes are toast, so I got some new mods on order:
eBay Slotted and Drilled Rotors
Hawk HPS High Performance Street Brake Pads
I never worked on drum brakes before, but disc brakes aren't too hard to do, so that's good news for me.
I also finally managed to fix the problem with the crappy connectors on the Depo projector headlights by buying some crimps with removable connectors from AutoZone. Problem solved! I also got some Phillips white bulbs. I think they look similiar to the PIAA xTreme white bulbs I had, but I'm still not too impressed with them.

Yeah, I'm surprised I don't see more Evo-style conversions out on the street given it's just as easy to do as an Integra Type R or SRT-4 conversion. Parts for this car are half of what I pay on my MR2 Spyder.
I thought people didn't do it because it isn't actually an evo. Some people treat you like some kind of impostor when you convert a base lancer to an evo. without changing performance or the back quarter panels that don't match up.
That is exactly why people do not, or should not do it. If you have a lancer, then say it is a lancer. if you want a evo, buy one. I am not saying do not build your lancer up but do not try to pass it off as a evo.
Lancer is coming along nicely man. can not wait to see what is next.
Nothing really new to the Lancer lately. I've been working on my MR2 in preparation of car show season. I dynamatted the interior, installed Infinity Reference speakers in the doors, upgraded to projectors and painted the insides of the headlights, installed a 5000k HID kit, had the carbon fiber hood , side mirrors, and interior wrapped, and installed Bride Gias seats. TRD rear spoiler is on the way. I'm not sure if I have to to buy and get a lip kit installed this season. Chipped and tuning would be next after that.

Time for a tire rotation. A/C was finally fixed after multiple trips to different shops trying to figure it out. Took it to my local Evo tuning shop (UCS Performance) and it turns out the magnetic clutch was going bad. Everything seems to work perfectly now..
