Had the 2002 lancer oz for little over 1 week. The mechanicals are done. I want to replace the grill. I really like your mesh style. Where did you find yours and how tough was it to install? I want a clean bolt on if possible, some mod if neccesary. No resin or bondo work please. Your car looks super clean.

 

Road Race Motorsports sells them. It doesn't come with the Mitsubishi badge in the center. I bought an Evo 9 front badge from the dealership for around $30? because it has a plastic backing with some tabs that you can use to zip tie it to the grill with some cutting involved. I also spray painted it gunmetal gray to blend it in better.

where did you manage to locate your GReddy shift knob? I know thhey are discontinued, but I want one still!!

 

Hmm, not sure, I got it years ago before I even had this Lancer. The Evo 8 leather ball shift knob actually feels better, so you're not missing anything.

 

That sucks I've been on the hunt for one for over a year now, but I've decided to explore other options, maybe a ralliart knob or something.

 

Washed the engine bay with degreaser. Hopefully I won't have anymore leaks coming from the valve cover.



The A/C will go out on my randomly when I'm driving which is pissing me off. It will work just fine most of the time, but when it cuts out, it will just blow hot air. My local repair shop couldn't replicate the problem, which seems to happen to me quite easily. A/C system was low, but was recharged.

Just wanted to say, very clean a tastfully done. The whole oz is well balanced. Def am looking forward to seeing more.

 

Yea it looks pretty nice. I wouldn't want to put the evo wing on it maybe not even racing seats if its a daily driver... but other than that, i love it =]
