Awesome build man! You really put some serious and considerate work!

Is that a cold air? I know it sounds silly but I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a coldair for my 04 lancer oz and I can't find it anywhere. I know our models aren't comparable but still, maybe you have more incite.

Also, how is that glassback? My friend swears by them, wondering what you thought.

P.S. How can I get that sticker?? I know it's custom but how much would you get me on for...

If your OZ is an automatic transmission, then a cold air intake is not available for you. Find a good SRI or just save for a turbo

BTW, love this build so far, you really know what you're doing man! You should paint the center piece on the spoiler black to look more like the EVO spoiler

The paint on that specific part turned out like JUNK, so I was highly debating painting it gloss acrylic black (which always turns out good for me). Thanks for the compliments, I'm definitely wanting to make it semi-decent for daily use. One I have my Honda put back together after my long term rebuild I want to swap a 4G64 into it and boost/tune it. Either that or go REALLY HAM and throw a boxer/AWD drivetrain into it. Mwhaahah. That would sure **** a lot of Subi and Mitsu fanboys off, definitely would be different.. WHO KNOWS.

Keep your stock intake, its really not worth it. No real power gains and it just makes it louder. I would MUCH rather have an OEM intake installed.

The glasspack is alright, it made it far more higher-pitch but it made it a good amount quieter. I now have my full 2.5" exhaust on and am waiting to be able to afford a specific bend piece I need to mount my muffler.

I'm really not interested in selling the stickers because I wanted it to be uniqe to my specific vehicle, but if you want something similar custom sticker design online stores are fairly common so look around!

As an update as mentioned before, I have my 2.5" exhaust completely setup now. It turned out really REALLY well. I'm poor and didn't have enough money to finish the exhaust when I did my main piping so I wasn't able to attach the muffler quite yet. Which actually resulted in a noise violation ticket tonight that will be fought in court. I flat out told the sheriff that I was poor and wasn't able to properly attach the muffler for about a few more days, so of course the dick gives me a ticket which delays it even longer. But as I said, I'm going to fight it.

Here are some pictures. You can see how the exhaust hangs down a lot, this is due to a lack of hangers. Once hangers are welded (along with the muffler) it will sit proper and the rear sway bar will be reinstalled with new bushings/endlinks. Turned out very very well though.

FINALLY! A proper exhaust!

I welded in a hanger made from 1/2" bar and used two rubber hangers for extra support. Then I used my last two 45deg pieces to make an S curve so the Muffler would sit properly in the bumper. Turned out really well, and although it sounds raspy, high pitch, and all around ricey; it should be even more quiet here in a few days when I get my new baffle. I managed to loose mine somehow from the time when it was still on my Honda.

I'm actually really impressed on how well this turned out, a heck of a lot better than I was expecting. DEFINITELY better than any knock off eBay exhaust I've ever seen. I can now say I have a completely custom 2.5" exhaust done by myself alone. In all honesty it only costed me about $50 for all of the piping, bends, and flanges.

I also had the dash apart while I was installing my viper keyless ignition/entry. I fixed my passenger side vent (pushed back, no airflow), and slapped in my fuzzbuster out of my Honda.

Nice to slowly start patching this thing together. I am debating having the front straightened out, bumpers painted, and spoiler painted sometime before winter really hits. I want this car to look semi-decent.

Dang man, I bet that sounds pretty fierce. Once again, good work! Oh and about the spoiler painting thing, have you tried Plasti-dip instead of a gloss paint to achieve an even coat? It would even work for your wheels if you like the blacked out wheels look on silver. I Plasti-dipped my wheels and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The stuff works wonders

Got the Evo 8/9 spoiler on today. It was a direct fit if you have the OZ Rally stock wing. The sides turned out well, as did the insides, but the top turned out terrible. I'll be painting it again soon. Definitely happy. I'll be calling around to see what they can do about my crank too.

Where did you get your wing from?

I've used plastidip before on other vehicles of friends, etc. but I'm still planning on getting the paint factory matched. Its my winter/summer/daily but I want it to look good (obviously). I'm probably going to paint the center "wing" portion one of these days here. I have access to my schools paint booth so I'll probably do it in there.

I got my spoiler off of eBay. I just typed in Evo 8/9 spoiler and this one happened to have two mounting options for the Evo or the OZ Rally hole patterns.

In other news, I decided on the tires I'm going to run through the winter. Firestone Winterforce 205/60/15's and I ordered four 1" wheel spacers! It should sit a little wider, and I'll be having it aligned after the new tires are on. Also will be buying new mud flap material for winter. I'm loving the exhaust currently, its quiet but just audible enough to shift properly.

Well if you want the factory match for black the paint code on that is X42 and good luck. Also please post pictures of how the car sits with the spacers, I've been thinking about doing the same thing. Thanks and keep it up!

Alright cool! Here are the spacers in the rear, I DEFINITELY will have to roll the rear fenders a small amount but that's perfectly alright with me. I have a feeling adding a thicker rear sway bar (or even the OEM one) should help a good amount. They look good, and even worked with my factory lugs without modification. The lugs stuck out of the spacers a small amount, but the wheel isn't completely solid in the center so it cleared perfectly. You just have to make sure you clean the wheel and drum/rotor surface very well so they seat properly. Mine were $130.00 for all four. The 205's will look damn good on there.

So it turns out that the company I bought my spacers from actually sell up to a 2" spacer in my size. So I'm going to move the 1" spacers up front and the 1.5" to the back. Next time I post pictures I'll have a full set of spacers and new tires.

They're awesome, have great reviews, are studable, and look good! I went with a 205 so I could have more tread touching the road because the car doesn't make the best power. Hopefully they will perform well under legitimate circumstances.
