How to install OEM silver pedals?

I picked up a set of OEM set of silver pedals yesterday thanks to dizzigital, but I don't know how to install them.

1) Do I just screw the dead plate on top of the footrest?
2) Do I just screw the gas pedal on top of the stock plastic piece? I couldn't figure out how to take the stock one off.
3) I removed the rubber covering from the brake/clutch pedals, and there's a metal plate there. Is there a way to remove it, or do I just have to drill holes for the screws and then screw them on top?

Thanks for the help. I had imagined that I'd be able to remove the existing pedals and just replace them with the aluminum silvers, but it looks like I'm gonna have to screw them on top of the stockers. That sucks...

Yeah. You've got to make it hold with permanence.

For the dead plate, I don't know.

Maybe tap a few holes or simply glue it on. I'd suggest JB Weld.

Thanks! I guess I'll have to pick some up when I get the Windo-weld.

Btw, how's pedal feel with the plates screwed on?

No. These were purchased from another EvoM user, used. Hence, there was no box or instructions.

However, I thank you for your input. It was very helpful.

You screw the gas pedal piece directly over the gas pedal with the plasticpiece still there. For the clutch and brake, you have to take the rubber pad off then drill it straight to the plate.

Thanks guys.

I just installed the dead pedal and the gas pedal by manually using a drill bit and a screwdriver, with the area being lit my my trusty LED keychain light. Ghetto...

I think I'll wait til I go home this weekend to drill through the metal pedals...

what i had to do was take the rubber peices off my pedals, then drill wholes into the metal pedal for my clutcha nd break pedals, as for my gas pedal i had to take the whole thing off and do it that way
