RA's don't have LSD. you just like to smoke crack, and ride your clutch like it's going out of style.

oh and maybe he likes buying tires too. but in all seriousness, do a search, please. there is SO much info logged in this site(couple yrs worth) 99 times out of 100 you can find what you need by doing a search. when i first joined i spent like 2 weeks just sifting through all the info in here(getting up to speed on the lancer). that way you can avoid all the bs of asking a DUH question.

and also not to be mean but i and quite a few others a really getting tired of noobs comming in and asking the same questions over and over and over without even trying to do a search. you have the right to be lazy and not search, just like we have the right to be too lazy to type out a long *** answer to the same question again and again.

To answer your question, the Ralliart comes with pretty bad stock tires (from what I've been told). The fact that I chirped 2nd (upshifting too!) in an automatic was enough evidence to tell me that the tires are not up to the task. But they're great for burnouts!!

The car also has a very very broad torque band (From low to high rpms) and thus it gets a lot of the torque down even down low. This can cause some major burnouts, and also means one has to be a little careful on the throttle when driving hard (because you'll burn the inside tire or cause some fantastic tire smoke).

You don't need an LSD to do this, by the way. The LSD will help your car put power to the wheel that needs it the most (in an open diff, power gets sent to the wheel that doesn't need it). So basically, it's some semi-okay tires and a ton of torque that allow you to do this.

If both tires are getting the same grip, both will break loose at the same time, and both will spin. The only time you'd need an LSD to spin both tires would be if one tire had lots of traction, and one didn't.
