What Clutch Do I Get?
What Clutch Do I Get?
Hey, its time for me to get a clutch,
any body has ideas, and price range, and most of all a "HOW TO" guide on doing that. a few threads ago, it came down to my clutch was slipping,
so i want to get a little better clutch that factory
so let me know ideas and thoughts
thanks

i got a spec stage 3 clutch (sm883-2) got it here in pr for 600 bucks yes is a lot of dough but is worth it...
as fas as the install goes i do have the tools so it came down to 3 hours in and out... the most dificult part is just to put the tranny back because is so godamm heavy.... but otherwise is a walk in the park...
take the baterry out
release the tranny from the mount
release front mount
release dp (for commodity)
release electrical details (sensors shifterlinks ect...)
release housing bolts
take the tranny out very carefully
take the pressure plate out and the disk, if you are changing flywheel change it if not take it to a machine shop so they clean and/or rectify it out for you, if you go the cheap way sand the friction section,
install it all back
breack the clutch in (+/-600 miles of stop and go)
enjoy
ps. i have a spare flywheel 'me not cheap' lol
