going into gear is just one of those things inherent in this tranny, but I've not had an issue since I have the motor mounts, both sets of shifter bushings, modulator delete, and clutch block. that's a pretty solid connection, you can literally feel what you are doing nothing "moves", so even during moderate cornering it shifts smoothly. I'll encounter some resistance every now and again coming out of a hard corner having to shift, but I think the proper suspension would alleviate most of that as well.
Hm... yea I think my motormounts are shot... I have stock clutch lines right now, have an upper waiting to be installed and will be doing the modulator fix soon enough. I'm waiting on a reply for motormounts as well, or i might just fill mines.

all of those things contribute to engagement issues, especially under hard acceleration. mounts were one of the earlier things I did. huge difference in the whole attitude of the car

Yea someday i'll fill mines. I've just been so tied up that the only time I actually get to romp on the car anymore is on the on/off ramps on my way to/from work. Otherwise I drive fairly slow since my highways are pitted with staties.

I check my MC again and it still looks clean from the last time i checked it out. I'm still trying to figure out where that ticking is coming from, I think I might drive around saturday for a while before i do my timing belt and just let the car idle while its on the lift and try to isolate the noise from down under.
