Removing the ENTIRE DASH

HEy guys, i want to rewire my alarm ans system so no one can find it and it wont be easy to cut or stel my stuff. I dont live in the best area...
I want to take out my dash and run wires back there

Now when i installed my stereo, i think i split on of the wires near the grommet on the fire wall, thats another reason why i want to take out my dash, so i can get to it.,..

thanks

Not a good idea. I've removed/replaced the dashboard in a couple cars and one truck before. Aside from it being a HUGE pain, they all rattled/squeaked like hell afterwards. Even with all the mounting hardware in place. It's not a job I'd look forward to on my car.

Instead, try removing the bottom access panels and running your wiring up inside there as far as you can reach. Maybe even remove the floor vent ducting for easier access. Make your alarm wiring look like the OEM wiring (tape and wire loom), and run it along the same paths.

Stock speaker wires are 0.85mm, which is just a hair thicker than 20AWG. Use 18AWG or thicker, available pretty much anywhere that sells electronics.
