Though I don't have an aftermarket steering wheel, this actually interests me as well. I'm pretty tall and I sit with the seat all the way back, but I'd like the steering wheel closer to me as I drive. With something like the KSport hub (or even some of the NRG ones out there), is additional wiring needed to retain function of the airbag as well as the horn, or once I put a hub on, no more airbag?

Just FYI, Evo hubs will only work on 04/05 Ralliarts. 06 Ralliarts and Lancers are SOL.

It says you have an 02 OZ, but you're asking about a Ralliart?

that link is for an 04-05 lancer ralliart hub. yes you loose airbags unless you use an evo wheel. aftermarket steering wheels obviously do not have a spot for an airbag. our grandparents walked up hill both ways and lived majority of there life without an airbag so can you.

I thought it was illegal to replace an OEM wheel/airbag for one without an airbag.
