whudup!? im wanting to make some custom eyelids anybody know whats the best place to get the vinyl and whats the paint code for red 2005-2006 Ralliart?

 

paint code is on your car and i own a graphics shop and was thinkin of makin some lol but vinyl is thin and could make it look rigged so i havent done it yet maby ill do some today and show u some pics. it would have to be a piece of vinyl a bit larger then the headlight and then u would place the bottom line of it where u wanted them to cover and then stretch the vinyl over the rest, also b/c its thin it would shine light through unless u got some thicker stuff.i would almost say it would be easyer for you to take on a fiberglassing project and make a template outa some thick carbboard paper of the eyelid and then fibergalss u one its not as hard as you think if you never delt with fiberglass but its a good start to DIY

Your car color code is under the hood.... I wanna say right behind your TB or somewhere near the firewall. There should be a metal plate with some data on there... It says right on it

 

so did anyone ever make their "custom" eyelids? pics!

 

please dont do that... ebay used to sell the vinyl eyelids for the 04-06 lancers and they look really stupid. also i'm sure the vinyl would eventually fade colors and look really off from the car.

Sry this is old but i guess for fun ill make some for yall to see i was really busy the last few months but ill try to get some up this week , as for it fading the vynil i have is a 6-8 yr and would take a long time to fade given u take are of it like waxing it and such, logevity would not be a problem.
