You've all been waiting for this...well, I just got confirmation from my local shop that VIS Racing has completed a OEM Evo8 style hood for the 04 Lancers. PM for shop details and price. FYI, the website has not been updated yet. My shop just sent me the update as they just found out about it recently.

Just so you all know....i'm still awaiting more details from my dealer. I am also going to try and arrange a silent group buy for this (as I don't have vendor status on here).

I am still waiting on specs....I presume it will be a fair bit....the stock RA hood is a pig! lol

nice! i really didnt want to put any evo immitation parts on my car, but the evo hood is about the best design i can think of. and its cf! this is why i got the thunder gray 
and about the rain: some dumbsh1ts put ducts and vents on top of their alternators. Then, when it rains, the battery dies fast caus its not getting a good charge or even discharging. Our alternator is not in the way of this duct. rain will directly hit the block fall to the rear of the wall. this will help for cooling =] should be no problems.
