We have two horns in our cars.. i just replaced one of them with one from a Galant and it worked out pretty good

More info? Is the galant horn louder or just a different tone?

 

i am not sure if it's louder or not.. but the stock one was very small in comparision =P

the new one is like a trumpet type while the stock one is a disc type

hm... if it's not as whimpy... i might follow suite and get one myself..

 

after 2 days.. i can tell you it's a lot louder than stock

it's pretty big and i don't think i can replace the passenger side one, since the a/c tubes are in the way. i will have to double check with my mechanic

how much did you get the horn for??

 

You can pick horns up at autozone and other auto part stores for less than 10 bucks. If you get one from a junk yard it should be a lot cheaper.

 

i got a genuine mitsubishi one =)

it was like $30 tax in (CAD $)

i want a full PA system... one of my friends had one in his rav 4 and it was fun... you can pic from a bunch of sounds and even talk... woo hoo....

probably slower with the additional weight of that beastly horn
