Quick question: Are there pictures of the new version installed, so we can compare the look of the two? I said quick question because I didn't read that entire thread. I just glanced over it real quick.

Those pictures are labeled as the old version. The pictures labeled as the new version don't show it installed, or even painted to match the OEM finish.

$300 isn't bad when you realize that Mitusbishi Japan/UK charges over $200 for the upper bezel alone and there is no lower bezel in the world that can relcoate and accomodate the USDM manual climate controls except for ours.

this kit is our own custom proprietary design, finished as close to OEM as possible in injection molded abs plastic. i'm sorry if the price is too much for some of you, but with the considerable investment spent on this project.. most, if not all of us think it's quite reasonable.

$250 for the initial group buy is the best price that we can possibly offer to get things started. this is a great product and i'd really like to get it on the market. please PM me if you'd like to be listed on the GB and help us get started. thanks.

no, the upper bezel is black and grained to match the rest of the dashboard. FYI, it's almost identical to the OEM Mitsubishi 2-DIN bezel from japan and the uk.

if matching the metallic-looking overlay is your goal, we are going to be offering optional JDM mitsubishi overlays at an additional cost.

the only issue that i forsee is the fact that this wasn't designed for the relocated hazard light button. we may be able to work with that for the '06-ON owners, but there isn't anything definitive to be said about that just yet.

please support the release of our kit. we need all of the help we can get in bringing it out to the market. i assure you, this is as close to an OEM 2-DIN as anyone will ever get.

thanks
