Custom sub box in wheel well
My first attempt at fiberglass and I would have to say it turned out pretty good. I had one design and and it turned out to be something better. Its not perfect, but it sounds good and I still have trunk space. It fits perfectly in the wheel well, now I just have to do the other side.

This is where I learned,

and other misc web sites. Sorry I didnt take any pics while I was building this. I will post some full trunk shots soon. This is not a complete project just the beginning. When I do the passenger side I will try and take some pics.

I've been wanting to do that for sometime...just don't know how to properly attach it to the trunk and stuff like that...building them is relatively easy...it's the finese crap that gets me.

Real nice job. Since you did that I'd go ahead and box off the entire side of the trunk and put the amps further back next to the subs. Should look real clean and it would free up your entire trunk for storage.

This is what I've been looking for...
I need the trunk space because I have SSL and I carpool people to school, so I hate having them take there backpacks/book into the car with them fearin they wiull mess up the leather. So now I can have the bump in the trunk, with space.

You could even even recess the amps down in the box and put a glass covering over them for protection. You'd have to hook up some fans, but it shouldn't be too hard since you are already on the side of the wheel well. You'd already have access to plenty of cool air.
