I never thought of that! I was going to get a vented CF hood to go along with my SRI but I never even thought of the possibility of getting the filter wet. Any ideas on how to avoid that? I'm thinking a heat shield would deter that a little but not enough for me to not be paranoid while driving in the rain.

well my CF hood is from VIS racing, it has a insert that you just screw in to cover up the vent from the underside. i just have to keep an eye out on the weather so i know to put it on or not. with a normal SRI i think you would be ok, but my intake is an AEM CAI that i keep SRI so it dosnt sit back behind the batt. its like right next to it, right under the vent. i think if i had the SRI i would be ok to leave the cover off.

yeah it's sweet. is it jdm or a 240?

If you leave, you'll be missed around here lol. If you sell you RA, someone's gonna get a wicked ride

My dream however, would be a GT-R

its still up in the air if ill keep the RA as my DD, its leaning to look that way. i do appreciate the love though

a GT-R would be nice, but the Silvia is like my unicorn. lol!

pretty jealous, almost bout a 240 a few years back. hated the decision not to ever since. love the way those cars look and drive, if you keep the car but decide to get rid of some of the parts for any reason let us all know!

Bro that 240 is sick! Yeah you can it's usdm because of the rear lights. It's still sick though.

My dream car is the car I sold a long time ago =(. 1992 BMW 318is with a swapped 95 M3 motor. I didn't get to finish and slam the thing. Hopefully in the future I can get another one and try again. Lol

But again great find!
