Anyone familiar with window tint? my back windows are tinted but its sort of a purpleish color and i cant find any that will match so i can tint the front windows, that said, how hard is window tint to remove?

take it to a shop and have all the tints done at the same time w/ the same material so it'll all match. they should be able to take it off w/o leaving any marks

 

the purplish you speak of is faded tint. You need to get the good quality stuff. i reccomend removing the old window tint.

 

buy a heat gun, 20$, and order a precut tint set from Northerntint.com, 30$. Comes in whatever darkness you want, already cut to match the car. easy to install. takes a couple hours. did this myself on my 1990 montero. previous car was a 2004 ralliart. looks awesome IMO.
