I want to get underglow but in Massachusetts it's illegal, final. I've seen local cops make kids cut the wires on their systems on the spot because they're dicks and so on. And the kids weren't even driving, they were chillin' at a local shop parking lot with friends. But either way i have the "thunder gray" RA and plan on getting red or white underglow for it. I can't afford LED's and plus i'm sure i can look around on the market for some kits that "fell off the truck" if you know what i mean.. lol

not unless bc of how its connected messes up some part of your electrical system. so in otherwords if its installed correctly, then no.

too much gravel and crap on the roads around here for neons under the car... sides that they just remind me of the civics in fast and furious too much... I would prefer to have the neons showing off features of the interior IE stereo subs and other interior mods

I would like to put neons under the car in the near future. Wondering what everyone is wiring them to? Are you using the battery or a seperate power supply? I would like to somehow set up the neons with my alarm system, maybe having them flash when I turn my alarm on..ofcouse using an aftermarket alarm.. Hooking them up to the battery, does that take alot of power from it or is just alittle charge?

Yes, you can hook them up to an alarm system as a "scanner". Many aftermarket alarms have a 12v output to run a scanner to inform you that the alarm is on. Now tapping into allows you to take control of this feature. Most LED systems do not take that much juice. Neon, aswell. But, LED is better by all means. When I do my installs...ofcourse depending on the needs of the customer....most times I go direct to the battery(with a fuse of course). Sometimes my customers request that they only be able to be turned on when the car is in ACC mode. That is easy...find an ignition wire and tap it...again with the inline fuse. And at all times I run an on/off toggle...to kill those bad boys when the police come knocking....

PS...if anyone needs a neon/LED kit...PM me

Just my two cents.

There is a new member named EVO Police. He is an EVO owner who is also a cop. He has a real long thread where he's been answering questions about tickets and other police stuff. I think the thread is in the Newbie section. That would be a good thing to ask him.

How exactly did you do that? I think they look real sweet. I love blue but I think I'm gonna go with with red lights on the interior and exterior. It will probably look the best with my Thunder Grey RA. But I really really wanna do blue.
