New to EvoM!
Hi, fellow Ralliartists! Trouble and I have been in love since the fall of 2011 we have had an interesting journey thus far but it will only get better from here on out. I purchased Trouble as my first car to work on and mod. She came with a catback and magnaflow muffler and thus far I have done an ACTHD pressure plate with a 6 puck sprung clutch with the Fidanza 9lb flywheel and the Evo8 master cylinder along the the KYB Gr2 shocks/struts. She also recently received shifter bushings. This summer I will be looking to go to Outlander calipers and iron out the suspension as I have read that suspension mods make these cars come alive! I cant wait to get to know the people in this community and tap into the plethora of knowledge here!
Cheers and much Love!!
P.S. if someone could point me in the right direction for how to post pictures effectively please let me know since this is the show and shine

*mobster voice* Welcome to da family!
LOL Yea as SLC said you can upload pics and link them from photobucket or another photo service. Or you can attach them when you post, but personally I like the photobucket method.
And again as SLC said I wouldnt bother with outlander brakes. IF i was ever to change my calipers I would do a Brembo swap from an Evo. Otherwise my upgrades pads, rotors, stainless steel brake lines, and DOT 4.0 brake fluid have served me very well.
Other than that it sounds like you already have a good start, and have already been reading a bit about the car! Thats excellent. And you read correctly upgrading the suspension on these cars does magic.
Get those pictures up, and again welcome to the forums!

Thank you for the info SLC I will do that! It sure feels good to be part of the Family Bakuro and thank you! Trouble is a one of those 5spdMT and I also didn't name her! The first day I had trouble I let my father drive her and he caught himself doing 65 in a 35 and all he could do was look at me and say " Joe this car is trouble" and shortly after that the same day as I was going to a friends house a police officer pulls me over and tells me that he heard me coming and that I am trouble and he is going to be watching out for me! Like I am going to be street racing, yeah right! Gotta save that need for speed for the TRACK!

posting pictures
Welcome to the RA community.
here is how I post pics in evom:
1. join imageshack
2. upload your pics to your imageshack account. Select Image Resize as 640x480 for reasonable size.
3. then click on the My Images tab, so your pics will all appear
4. left click on the pic you want to upload to evom, so its highlighted
5. at the right side of the pic there is a column of little icons, click on the first one, it looks like a blue 'i' and means 'Share it".
6. A pop-up appears with a bunch of different links - highlight and copy the entire url in the Forums Link
7. now get into evom and start a new thread. Simply paste your link in the thread where you want it
8. before you are finished, preview your message to make sure the pic shows up
9. enjoy the feeling of accomplishment with a cold
