I wish they would... they are great on the phone and i've talked to them a few times on newtib boards. Hell from what i've seen on here they used to post a lot but some heated arguements had them wanting to leave.

I don't think there will be issues like that with the new policies the board has. They should come back in more often now. I'll ask that tomorrow when i call them. Think the guy i talked to was Ross... extremely helpful guy.

fight is over... my beef was thinking he was a rep and calling me a liar. I know he's just a kid on the internet now.

As for RIPP and Ross... that dude was super helpful. When i told him i wanted his kit for my GF's car he just started rattling off the impressive list of items involved. I've checked out TC kits for the car but don't really like them for the V-6. I think the SC is better there. (PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME!!)

Seriously though... 300+whp on a V-6 stock motor... that's impressive. I can't wait.

i'm guessing there's probably not and electrical problem with the output of the signal. Instead maybe they should investigate the possibility that there is another sensor causing some issues. I'd suspect, like with some GM vehicles now, there is a third directive involved. Could seem like an alternating signal but actually it's a manipulated signal due to another sensors input as sensed by the ecu. With us it's usually the Map sensor modifying a signal during higher than normal kpa output. Kinda like a safety for the motor as we know it shouldn't see positive kpa pressures. Hope that helps.

Wll ROSS finally called! And it's fixed!!! He just picked it up from the engineer in jersey! The problem was wrong data posted on some web site they use to get the ecu map from(not sure of the name). But all it was was 1 wrong resister I think! So it's back at RIPP as of today at 5:00 p.m and the only thing left is to slap the meth bottle in fill it up and dyno! He might have to get a different bottle because on no place for the standard one! But he ran a turbo spec-v on the way back from 2nd to 4th and SMOKED his ***! Wich I don't care because he has to test drive it at full boost to make sure everthing is gravy! He said it's tuned at 5 psi untill the mivec hit's and then it jump's to 8 psi. He said it feels like I gained 2 more pistons and have a beefed up 6 clnd with out all the weight! And is guessing around 240 whp! But wensday we will all find out and I can finally pick it up on friday! And as far as the exaughst problem he said it's not as bad as we thought so I will wait on the resinator till I hear it! But thank everyone for the thoughts on the electrical!

How did they tune it to run at 5 PSI before mivec and 8 PSI with mivec?

And is this on the 5-Speed ? So you have meth hooked up? I thought they said the stage 1 didn't need it or are you stage 2?

If these were answered already......i'm sorry but I've been avoiding this thread for a while.

I'll try to answer what I can:

this is on a 5spd, stg1, but ralliart33 opted for the meth cooler addition, so its like stg1.5. its not needed for stg1 as the incoming boost charge isn't too hot, so its just a little something extra to help out performance. But stg1 kits don't come with it

As for tuning for mivec, your thinking about it the wrong way. supercharger's build boost steadily till redline, it doesn't all come on at once say with a turbo. stg1 kits are around 7-8psi and stg2 is around 11psi, but only at upper rpms, that doesn't mean you'll be boosting 11psi @ 2k rpm

What he probably meant was mivec kicks in at what, like 4k rpm or so? I'm just guessing, so at 4k rpm its hovering around 5psi, then mivec kicks in, it starts sucking in a ton of air and the boost shoots up to 8psi. boost is controlled via rotational speed, which in turn is controlled by the size of the crank and shaft pulley, so its in effect limited mechanically to 8psi for stg1
