hey ralliart33, last time I talked to ross on the phone, he mentioned something about them sending away for some crank pulley or something for your car. could you elaborate on that, i didn't catch what he was saying completely. Are they going to be replacing the stock crank pulley or is this a different size shaft pulley?

oh yeah, rpw= racing performance works I reckon

with the holiday (thanksgiving) i would say within 2 weeks of today we'll have some solid numbers on it, at least we should. Last I heard they were finishing it up, so they are really really REALLY close

yeah, i'm not going to lie, its going ot be tricksy with the holiday season fast approaching (thanksgiving, then x-mas, then new years). I know ripp wants it done before x-mas, but that is really a couple weeks off after you factor in holiday time, so i wouldn't be suprised if it was after the 1st of the year

I sure hope not after the first of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got off the phone with ross and he said everything except 25% of electronics are done! There is a problem with a signal from the mas air censor wich he said happened on the auto! So they should be able to figure it out no problem! It looks like that should put it in dyno mid next week hopefully! And I am really hopeing to pick it up next friday! The longer it takes the more screwed I get! I run a 215/35/18 nitto neogen that suck's in the rain and never tried in the snow! My car is strictly show and recriational use. As far as the pulley no idea, I thought he said crank also but it could have been shaft because it came straight from vortec! But RRM got the down pipe there right on time(thank god)! They have always been great on shipping except with my short shifter! But as always as soon as I get the #'s i'll post! ANd hey "green pshyco" i probally will take you up on hosting that for me!

yeah, just lemme know when you get pics and vids and i'll host them for ya.

I think everyone is going to be pleasantly suprised with the numbers the kit puts out, it should be a real homerun for RIPP

and ralliart33, don't mean to sound the pessimist, but I've got my stuff done at ripp before and I'm just telling you, hope for the best but plan for the worst. ripp is the best shop i know of, but stuff like electronics, and tuning take a long time. I doubt next friday is an option, maybe if your really lucky the friday after. just telling ya how it is

man that's awesome. You guys in PR really kick *** with cars. What do you guys do that we don't man!! TELL ME... i must know.

Did you see my latest post? Pulled a low 13... car was uncontrollable. I'm turbo'd though. I can't wait to see what an SC can do. So far we haven't even seen what one can do on a regular lancer 2.0L.

No biggy though... just takes time. Come on SC guys... get out there and pimp it up!

what we do that you dont? well we take a gamble with the cars...
example be my car wich is n/a 14.3@102 stock internals, havent opened the engine for anything -just my gaskets- and looking at the sds, why because everyone can make a turbo, sds is a good challenge no matter the gain -this is my opinion and i dont give a rats as@ what people think about that...
other that i work on has 100 of good old nitrous, yes it holds as long as you have a good clutch and the guts to press the button, has never ever given a problem with the maf no blowouts runs great.. that one does 13.8@112 (drag radials)that one also with stock internals, but with a lot of time in the fuel department...

so what we do? a lot of trial and error...

and to my 'fans' PLEASE! do not ask me whats my setup i dont tell, pls respect that -thats for my 'fan mail' (PM)-

Hey bro... i'm not going to ask about your stuff. I respect that.

Most want to know what it takes to get that fast... and won't believe you if you don't share.

I'm gonna be in the 12's soon on my setup. It's funny how some guys talk crap and some guys actually go out and get it done! Guess we are one of the few that get it done. I seriously can't wait to see how your SC setup turns out. At least i can rely on you to get some real info up. Dyno's are for numbers only... the track is where it's at.
