I think we understand each other here, if you look at my post above you'll see where I try and use 'ficticious' numbers that you will definately see a reduction in power at higher altitudes, just that the turbo will work more efficiently to reduce that difference. And I'll conceed that I could be misinterpreting info as well.

ahhh, you are right. I read that entirely too fast at work this afternoon. I work with numbers all day, so they kind of flash by me without my 100% comprehension.

Yea, I had her tunned. If you recall in some other thread I had posted my car was running extremely lean in boost. My tunner couldn't figure it out as everything on the turbo looked properly installed and tight. Fuel pressure tests were good and for a while it looked like a faulty 5th injector.

We called RRM and after much to & fro, Rob sent us the most updated map they had. We downloaded the map and everything started looking better & safer. My tunner also called Split second to confim which map A or B controlled the timming since it wasn't appreant on the maps themselves (they looked almost identicle) He then tunned her and instant smoother running, improved power curve and AF ratios that were where they should be. Unfortunately, the print off he gave me just had the base power numbers/rpms. I do know all the other important infor (A/F ratio etc..) is still on my file on his data base which he keeps for all his clients.

I am going to see him tommrow, he's installing my wideband since I am to busy at work right now and out of town most of the time. I may get a more comprehensive print-out for my personal records.

At the end of the day, like we've all stated, I'm happy, GDS is happy, Blitzflip is happy ( LSD is sad) and my car is running great. Way to many varibles to compare charts.

I am, and for good reason. if you don't believe me, take a look at the evo forums

glad to here you have a decent tuner man, it's hard to come by believe it or not. post up those updated graphs, the more everyone has to compare to the easier it will be to diagnose problems in the future.

and yeah, rolsd is sad

Tell me about it. When I decided to go turbo, the search for a local tunner began and it took me about four months of searching, asking questions, talking to others who went to tunners in the city and one cancelled appointment by a different tunner to settle on Martin at AFI Performance. And then it took more than a month to get booked with him and to have him take me on as a client. In addition to tunning he also builds custom turbo set-ups, from Daily Drivers to track cars. Huge in the V8 crowd. I was even more impressed watching him tune my car and listening to him talk shop with ROB at RRM and the guys at split second

It terms of posting up more charts, no problem. I have learned more off this site and its search button than all the books on general turbo's and cars combined. I have complied a nice data bank of all boosted RA's and their performance mods and results, for future reference.

it doesn't matter the length, and if you put it together I doubt any of the mods would have a problem stickying it.
