The JDM pinks are the highest cc of the direct bolt on plug and plays. It's what i'll be using on my kit once i re-do the fuel system.

He was looking for "pink 440cc" injectors...

lol, cause i don't think they exist...440's are from the regular WRX not the STI...

you could probably find DSM 450's from a 4g63T for like next to nothing, cause these guys that race them usually bolt on a bigger snail, FMIC, big injectors, and have stock stuff laying around...but they require resistors and wiring, same as EVO... i could have gotten free ones but i don't want to cut the harness...i wanna be able to go back to stock if i had to, not that i will, just i don't want to do any cutting mods...

oh wait, DSM probably weren't sold in australia...find WRX injectors :P

that's why i said it

those appear to be the right ones...though i'm not sure what the difference is between the RS and WRX...price is steep but they are deatschwerks, they have a pretty good rep...

They are not direct bolt-ons but the plugs do fit. I've tuned a few turbo cars with these injectors on them. Also done a few with the modded wrx injectors. Personally I prefer the STi pinks.

We went over this when you were here. I think it is the best solution as you can run the line from the back to the front and it does not get in the way, going from the oil filter you have to make sure it does not contact any moving parts....you can do both no issues but Hack and I thought it was the easiest and cheapest I think that adapter cost 6 bucks....

I posted that ages ago...was easy to see on the spare, hack had told me before i asked you, but my engine is still in my car, so i couldn't see, it, never actually went under to look for it...so that's why i asked to actually show me where it was located...you got a part number for that adapter?

anyways still gathering pieces for my turbo build, but right now i'm focusing on drivetrain, and laying the groundwork for actually getting power to the pavement...i'm also still researching sensors for air and fuel...

i have the WRX 440 injectors, and an EVO 8 "MAP" sensor...but read it's only 1BAR, which is approximately atmospheric at sea level, so would its measurement not would be differential pressure, not the actual pressure being forced into the engine, so it's technically an MDP sensor. But what i don't understand is how the pressure rating works, like is it 0VDC at atmosphere and anything above that induces a voltage up to 2xatmoshpere? or is it 0 volts in negative pressure (no idea how this thing works) and only puts out max voltage at atmoshperic pressure, and cannot measure above it?...now again, i haven't a clue how these actually work and what exactly they are measuring, or rather what the reference pressure (vacuum, ambient atmospheric, boost) is, but i can imagine how that would affect tuning whether using MAP or MDP...however should it not be able to measure any amount of boost pressure over atmosphere up to its physical limitations if it's MDP?...now i'm relating this entirely to my knowlegde of pitot-static systems where the altimeter uses differential static pressure for altitude, and as such will give a pretty accurate indication within its mechanical limits where the starting point or reference pressure is sea level and elevation corrections are made by mercury barometer...anyways i guess this question is for mike...cause the evoX, and JDM evo9 sensors are appearantly 3BAR MAP sensors, but EVO7-8 uses MDP??

michael, help me !! i'm honestly searching this, but can't find technical information...just crap like, "it measures pressure in your intake manifold"....lol, no sh*t huh?

Before you pop a gasket. The only set up that worked for us was using a 3bar map. I am not sure but i think I showed you it on my car if not I apologize. We can get you a 3bar no worries they are not that expensive. My set up has 550cc Rc injectors and we have a kit available that will take care of all parts needed to go from stock inj to the 550cc including spacers and plug and play clips for the inj and the map. once you get all the hardware done manifold turbo inter cooler and piping we will supply the electronics for you and do the custom tune as I am sure Hack mentioned to you. Don't worry about atmospheric pressure cold start and all the other things a piggy or standalone cant do. The flash and i am living proof does all that for you remember Hack reprograms the ecu to run boost all the other "stuff" is not touched so the ecu will do what it was intended to do from the factory.

k, so EVO 8 MDP sensor = no good

it's cool...3bar map is not unreasonable, however:

can we make the WRX injectors work? i'm not really diggin' the price of the RC's...and is a wideband O2 required?

i'm using a remanufactured 14b, or 16g, with 9psi actuator because i have an O2 housing for that, and would greatly ease the fabrication of my downpipe..i'm not really sure if that matters a whole lot...would you recommend an external WG?

The EVO 8 1bar no good same as the 1 one bar on your car. The 3bar on the evo x will work but cheaper to get after market 3 bar.

The 4bar is too much for the application I had it working but the 3 was better.

The sti will work but you will have to rig up something to keep the rail in place, we made spacers for the RC but who knows what will work for the sti inj.

So your saying the pink sti injectors are made differently than the light blues? So the light blues are plug and play but the pinks aren't?
