what is your guys opinion even with the CEL problem. Do you buy it or not? Does the Cel really effect perforamce, does the Piggy back ecu help correct that problem?

I've driven it 1,000+ miles with the CEL on, and 1,000+ miles with it off. I can't tell the difference either way. When I do my LA runs, I always get 28-29 mpg. Performance wise, it feels just as strong. If there is a difference, it's gotta be less then a couple %.

I would still recomend it. Unless, of course, you can afford the turbo!!!

I'm looking for someone in San Diego with a 5sp stock that we can compare car performance with.

I would have to agree I am still looking into the cel elimintor but for now taking out the bulb worked fine for me.

OK thanks, i plan one getting my turbo around Christmas. I need to buy something for my self. Is there any plans for CEL Eliminator? If so how much are we looking at for this product. Would a stand alone fuel management system eliminate the CEL?

wow I just read the direction on how to do it and it makes sense I am going to try and test it out tomorrow if I get a chance (I just need a drill) but if not I will defintly do it this weekend. Not having a CEL light bulb has been my solution so far I wonder if my CEL will still be on when I put the bulb back in I took it out ocer 1000 miles ago.

Yea it works. I just helped my friend put a race header on his rsx-s about a week ago. He didnt want to buy the o2 cenuser elimantor thing (i dont know what it was called but it was like 80 bucks). He bought the spark plug fouler and we drilled a 1/2 an inch of one of the spark plug fouler(their's two). It was really easy to do and install. My friend has driven a couple of hundred miles and no cel. Some ppl in the rsx forums have driven around 12k without a cel coming on. It is the perfect thing to do and its cheap. I recomend it.
