magnaflow: sound round VS oval body

I'm looking to get a magnaflow muffler. What I want is double wall, straight cut 7" tip. This comes in a round body that is 7 inches #14825.

I heard how the OVAL Double Wall, 7" Angle Cut tip sounds, I like it and its great, nice and deep

The Oval body does not come with the straight cut tip. in 7 inch length.

Does anyone know if the OVAL and the ROUND bodies sound the same. I'm looking for the LEAST noise possible. I figure that the round body has a straight through flow and would sound louder. ANY ONE?

Part #14829 is oval body with 7" tip.

Oops, that's an angle cut tip - forget I said anything *L*.

I'm sure though if you got in contact with Magnaflow they could make you the oval body with straight cut 7" tip - worth a try!

It's LENGTH, not diameter, of the tip he's referring to LOL!

The diameter of the tips in those part numbers listed above are both 4"...

what would fit better, 14812 (tip lenght - 4") or the 14825 (tip length - 7") and how much would it cost to have it installed at a shop?

Thanks for clearing that up, I was saddened to think that someone would put a melon shooter on their Ralliart.

thanks for not flaming me too much, the reason I wrote 7 inches is cause the 4 inch length comes in the straight cut tip oval body, but 4 inches is too short. Can anyone tell my if they sound the same?

get the 7" length as i did, cause it helps clear the gap from the mount brackets and the bumper. I got mine at Canadian tire for $143.00 and tax. 14829, my cardmoin site shows the muffler, i think so does the "My Ride" link.
