Just want to add some more to the list...

4G69 uses 4G63 rod and crank bearings (old news)
4G69 uses 4G64, 4G94 valve guides and seals
4G69 uses the EVO timing belt tensioner which is aluminum, not cast iron
4G69 intake valve = 34mm (4G63 EVO = 34mm) May fit?
4G69 exhaust valve = 30.55mm (4G63 EVO = 30.5mm) May fit?
4G69 uses 4G64, 4G94 valve spring retainers
4G69 uses 4G63, 4G64 head bolts (can use 4G63 ARP head studs )
4G69 uses 4G63, 4G64 main bolts (can use 4G63 ARP main studs )
4G69 uses 4G63 EVO balance shafts (can use 4G63 EVO BS eliminator kit )
4G69 uses 4G63 fuel Rail (can use AEM's)
4G69 uses 4G63 Rods (just check height and length)

and also, if you want to upgrade your fuel injectors...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/04...de-thread.html

I used JDM subaru Impreza WRX STI 565cc fuel injectors (pink and top fed!!!) they fit our car perfect. if you need more fuel than that. buy them and bore/punch them out to 720cc or whatever you need.

anybody knows place with reasonably cheap valves for this 4G69??

dealer just told me 28 for intake and 31 for exhaust one....way to expensive in my opinion....

lil story behind car, 2004, pearl white, 206000miles...lady forgot to change timing belt, engine looks unbelievably clean, no leaks, nothing, inside, same, no debris on rockers, cams, clean as whistle

i guess these are very good engines :-))

Boczo, if you need valves made for the 4g69, than there is a guy on this website, and on the club4g.org website. his name is ToorTool. he has hooked up with a company, and they make valves for our cars. a while ago it was a group buy, but now i think you can buy them 400 a set. get ahold of him, he'll give you more info. he is more on the club4g.org website, cuz he owns an eclipse

or go on the club4g.org website and search for 4g69 valves. it'll pop up.. hope that helps.

I've read thru this a couple times and didn't see anything about clutches or flywheels. I've got a 2004 ralliart and I can get a deal on a new clutch for a 2000 eclipse 2.4. Will it work?

I wonder what the code for our trans is. My brother is doing some work on his 3000gt trans and we had to do some internet searching for parts, come to find out his was a f5m33, used in a buttload of cars. So what is ours, where did it come from, and who are we sharing our granny geared gearbox with?

p.s. I still to this day occasionally try to grab for a sixth gear in this car.m Its just not freeway freindly enough i guess.

I can't say for sure but I have a 04 ralliart racecar and my cousins is a 2000 eclipse and sit side by side they look exactly alike. Sometime this winter I'll be pulling the trany to replace the clutch and I'll compare it to a spare for the eclipse.
