Performance Part Review
is there anyone on here that has filled their stock engine mounts with a DIY liquid urethane kit? i did 2 of my mounts using 80A urethane and i love it. hardly any engine roll and no wheel hop. great product and even better price. im curious though about the longevity of the urethane. will it crack or deteriorate easily? thanks
Anyone know anything about this guy
I generally work off the "the get what you pay for" montra but it would be nice to find something I can't get a diferent tune with that is at least reliable

Way off topic.. You never heard of a shift kit for automatics? Like b&m? It's just stiffer springs that you put in the valve body to hold more pressure so shifting is delayed and it is also good for fast solid shifts
Who here has a 2005 automatic RA with the Injen CAI, cause I was looking at it, and then looking at my engine bay, I don't see how that intake will fit because of the battery and the transmission being in way, can someone please shed some light my subject?
FYI for those who have never heard of shift kits. They are used on non-computer controlled transmission to increase line pressure and firm up shifts to reduce clutch pack slippage. With that being said all computer controlled transmissions in order to firm up shifts would have to adjust transmission tables to increase firmness for higher performance applications. Also as far as i know they dont make an improved clutch pack and steel kit for our cars.

Solution or alternative for shift kit for 2005 automatic transmission: hackish reflash, then ask for increased shift firmness. he will adjust the throttle angle for you. I currently have the above, and along with the increased rev limiter to 7200 rpm, the results speak for themselves.

another question, I been looking in my engine bay to see whether or not a Injen CAI would fit, but im seeing that the transmission and battery and other lines are in the way, so how is the 2004 2005 Injen CAI for automatics going to fit?
never heard of it...i've never modified an auto, and the guys i know that have, i've never bothered to learn about what's required to run an 11 second 1/4 with an auto trans...i just think it's funny, that you just press the pedal to the floor and steer the car...
Yea it was still fun in the beginning because of the sporty feel of the RA. But its getting dull now... I keep looking for a cheap (maybe even wrecked) manual to pop up near me but Ive had no luck yet...
