Sorry, man. It's in the Vendor Classified section. Try this link. I put my review up in there.

Question

-

Robert,

I'm posting this here (in this thread) because I think it wouldn't have been appropriate to post in your product thread.

I must say I was very excited to read you previous post... and very excitedly did I go to your web site. When I saw the product, I thought it was simple enough a design to do the job it is supposed to do.

But I quickly went from joyful anticipation to outright shock when I saw the price you were asking for the aforementionned product. The powdercoating is a nice touch, but I can't believe it's that expensive. Since the hardware shown instantly looked to cost less than 50$, and even considering your R&D work, I just can't understand the difference between the price I would expect to pay for this part and the actual price you are asking for it.

You are of course free not to discuss the reasons behind your pricing policy on a public forum... but I would still be very interested in your answer. Also, would you consider selling this kit without any finish on it, and if so, how would this affect the asking price???

Thanks for your work on this... and I hope I did not offend you in any way by my comments.

Hi, WoRKZ -

Thanks for your discretion, which is most appreciated.

You know, design and pricing are "slippery slopes". If I come out with the product the way I think it should be designed, it costs money, and I have a business to run. If I skip the paint or weld them up myself (read: sloppy) to save costs so I can put it out there at a low price, they I risk being flamed for putting such a low-quality POS out there on the marketplace.

Some people like the lowest cost products, some like the nicest products. I guess I have to cater to the latter category. By the way, this is something that you will notice at every moment your car is in gear. A good deal? Only you can decide.
Thanks, WoRKZ,

- Rob

Rob,

First of all, thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my post. Second, I sure hope it didn't sound like I was saying that your product is not a quality part. I'm quite sure it is... after all, we've been able to follow it's development on here from day one. I think your approach is quite sound.

At the end of the day, I'm just very disapointed that I can't afford this part, which I was originally expecting I would. I suppose I will have to create my own dampener then... but I'm sure it's a very long process, so I wish I could have just simply bought the thing.

Once again, thanks for your time... and for coming out with products for the RalliArt.

theres a thread for it either here or in general which was posted on within the past week or so, so it should be easy to find. so you know ahead of time alot of people were complaing about 2+ months wait time after they gave NSC money before they saw a part or heard anything. some also complained about fabrication issues but almost everyone gave it a great review minus the wait time.....

i actually think its next on my list im hopin to order it in a few weeks. $65
