I agree. This isn't a honda swap. DSM's don't swap that easy. There are better projects to do inorder to have braging rights. A turbo will give as much power with a better weight ratio and therfore better performance.

lol who would pay 30k and take the motor out i know i'm not hence why u go to junk yards to find the wrecked ones and all. my b/f picked one up for 2200 for 3xxx miles on it. my b/f and the boys at there garage are going to do the swap after we finish fixing the blown head gasket in my talon... they should beable to do it... you guys ever see the mazda pickup with a 4g63t in it.. that thing is f'ing sick

well if you go ahead with it make sure you take plenty of pics of the whole process and document the work done and problems encountred I am always keen to see people have a go at something new

that's not bad, my turbo, manifold and DP probably weigh like 60 pounds

If I recollect right, there were JDM Lancers and Colts with V6 engines, not 3.8 L though. I will dig and see if I can confirm.
Yes, first with the 6A10 then the 6A11. A far cry from the 3.8L above though.
