It was. He and I are talking about our theoretical limit with the current gearing, rev limiter, and tire size. If your RA put down 600hp ( ), it still wouldn't go 150mph. It would get to 145 or so, and the rev limiter would kick in.

I was initially talking about swapping out 5th ONLY. But, it seems to be the popular decision that its not cost effective. SO, if i was to find a FD that has a slightly wider range then it might be worth while.

when it comes to the top speed, i dont think that it is drag limited at 132, i think it's electronically limited somewhere around 135. when i had my evo cluster in it would show just past 135 so i figure it to be about 134, and my gps speedo said 134 as well. plus i was reading somehwere on another forum abotu a reflash that "removes govern and raises rev limit"

how about just a tranny swap?
i think i read somewhere a evo trans bolts up...(of course ud have to then figure outt he axles to make it FWD only or add in all the rest of the rear parts to make it AWD...)

how bout maybe a galant ot DSM or sumn else that still came w/ a 4g69?
theyre probably geared different as well...and im sure you could swap around from those...(of course that requires $, time and a guinea pig....)

You do know this is a 7 year thread right, otherwise, we aren't electronically limited, we are drag limited. The other forum , club4g maybe? The eclipses come with a governor , apples and oranges.
