In theory, it should slightly increase gas mileage.

Theory is correct.
I keep track of my gas mileage.....and it has been consistantly been between 26-29mpg with the pulley. Before the pulley I could barely crack 27mpg at the most.
I have had the pulley on for about 5k miles.....no problems at all, and the gas mileage is bueno!

We should advertise it as the hybrid Pulley system!

I also have witnessed a slight increase on the highway. In the city I like to get up to the speed limit quickly so my gas milage is not so good. Around 22, and since I do about 95% of my driving in the city (until tommorow when I close on my house and my drive to work changes from 1 mile to 33) I have noticed no change. But that is my fault.

i just gots one of them pulleys but it hasn't increased my gas mileage. For some reason, unkown to me, it instead caused my right foot to gain a little weight which in turn causes me too be a pesky little speed demon. Damn that bastard pulley!!! Mileage to date 16/20, makes you wonder if there's a v8 under the bonnet.

haha....it will take some discipline to not make your right foot so "heavy".

I have found that attaching some bungee cords from my big toe to my headrest seems to fix that just fine!

well, I want to get the pulley but I'm waiting till I pcs back to the states in aug., right now, I live on Guam and there is a ton of redlights and tons of traffic so getting good gas mileage is really hard. I average about 23-25mpg and that's getting into mivec every once in a while. Once i get back to the states, I'm sure my mileage will go up due to less traffic and traffic lights and then with the pulley on, I'm sure I'll be impressed.

Hey guys, since I started this thread I have also added an AEM cold air intake to the car. Now my mileage is hanging around 29+ mpg. Most of my driving is either at 70 or 50 mph, but I also like to make the car get up and go. The pulley plus a few other add-ons should make alot of difference when it comes to getting more miles out of that little gas tank.
