Couple tenths for 60' is about it really, no let up thru the traps, nitrous in 2-4th. My trap speeds were closing in on 100mph so it wasn't like I wasn't trying! Everyone there expected to be about a second quicker based off of bench racing but the real world begs to differ unfortunately. I'd like to say I had a 13 second car for under a grand though!

215 whp... drag radials, and only 14.89... that is just outlandishly bad

you're making 215hp? did you dyno? you might not be. Elevation and humidity can really effect your times. also higher traps don't mean better ET's. if your getting a good launch you should see your traps actually drop a bit. i'd say a bit over 200hp should get you to 13.9 with a good launch and a really good driver. good driver is the best mod u can get.

i think Boe ran a 13.9 when he had his turbo lancer, and he was probably making about 220hp. Ralliarts have better gearing than normal lancers and will have a lot more bottom end. also i'm talking about NA, nitrous is F/I

https://www.evolutionm.net/registry/dynos.php Look under #137 and 138 currently. Those were with 50whp jets installed (I had to swing by my apartment to pickup the 75's for the final time slip). Those dyno #'s are the same day just a few hours before the time slips, I had the bottle topped off afterwards as well. All I can say is I had alot of wheelspin in 1st and for a split second in 2nd. Once it halfway hooked up I was on the plan B button untill the big board was telling me what just happened. For reference sake, I was within tenths of a Ram hemi shortbed w/ intake, exhaust + programmer and mustang cobras. Maybe it was a bad night for everyone but then again there was a Suburban turning 14 flat there as well.... If and when I make improvements on those numbers I'll repost on the dyno and timeslip boards. Who knows, maybe I'll get some more upgrades before running again...

Well I was going to give you a link to my timeslips on the forum when I realized that you dont' have one posted. I'm from Missouri, the "SHOW ME" state. SO.... either prove you can do better or accept what's sitting in front of you in black and white. As far as correction factors go... I guess I should practice? I'm not all about benchracing, I went out to the track and FOUND OUT. Just because you think I should be a full second faster doesn't mean it's ever going to happen. Remember that literally thousands of people apply to Road and Track, SCC, etc to be test drivers, the best one gets it. I would never presume that I'm better than a proffesionally paid driver...

SO, in conclusion, show me what you got kid (with a time slip) or stop busting by bearings!

I've rehashed this story so many times, in so many different ways, the mods are probably using it as a drinking game by now...

how bout you guys both list your mods, like complete mods including weight reduction, first, then go to the track.

not trying to bust your ***** dude. just saying that one driver in one state doesn't make it impossible.

my mods:

APC aluminum spoiler
chrome 19" rims
neon under glow
vinyl graphics
LED turn signals that blink twice as fast
neon washer nozzles
5" tach w/ shiftlight

with this setup i should be able to hit low 12s, but i haven't had time to get to the track yet.

Is this before or after RPW gets an emanage programmed up for nitrous? I'm finally breaking down and buying the stiffer motor mounts since the dampers aren't panning out at all. I felt like a moron when I found out deyeme racing is about 15-30 minutes away and I'd never heard of them before. Maybe I can get a little something going with them . I've just about talked myself into buying another nitrous system anyways, one with GOOD solenoids. It'll be interesting to what it does with the underdrive pulley too. This all might be for naught if I get a certain car here in a few days. Don't ask, I won't know if it's available for another day, I'll let you know then.

Wouldn't Rock, Paper, Scissors be easier? lol! I'll know tonight after work if that "other car" will be available. It's 25 years old, a compact car, made in america, and it'll be even scarier (stock) down the 1/4 than a (stock) RA! Not bad for a front driver w/ a carb. Who knows, maybe I'll swing by Texas on my way back from Cali with it!
