RRM CAI replacement filter size?

I searched real quick and couldn't find it.
I'm looking to pick up a new filter for my RRM CAI, just wondering what sizes or brands i need to know.
I would just order it from RRM, but i can't wait, i have a long drive i need to take tomorrow that i found out about today

thanks, in advance, for your help.

Check out K&N. But measure the filter first.

Take yours off and just measure the hole. I think the RRM one is 2.5", but I'm not 100% sure.

guess i'll have to take it off.. I just hoped that someone could give me the size, as i need to go buy it. I didn't want to have to take off the tire, remove splash guards, measure filter, reassemble, and then have to do it all over again.

oh well, i'll post up the exact filter size in the NOOB when i get it.

You don't have to take the wheel off, all I do is jack it up remove the one corner splash guard then take the filter off. 10 minutes. I've got it down to a work of art.

It is a 2.5" filter. I measured mine when I had it off. May I ask why you are replacing?

anyone know the K&N part number for the filter that fits the RRM CAI?

Its a real pain to find, since K&N lists them by number and not by sizes. Any help would be great!

The reason Im replacing mine is cause the little metal center cap inside the RRM filter came off and got stuck in my intake. I got it out and super glued it back in place, but Im a little leary about it now.

2.5".

Everyone including Joe, otter and especially stEVOx confirmed this for me before when I created a similar thread.

Straight from ROCK himself.
