RRM magnafow highflow cat

I was just wondering what a highflow cat will do in terms of sound for an RA (my setup) with CAI, stock header and dp for now and RRM axelback? Would you get a more quieter tone out of it or would it be louder since it flows better? Also what would it do for thorttle response?

it will be a bit quieter... and i think it won't be as loud when it back fires. If your car does at all... for me with my RRM catback on, and stock header/dp i hear the popping sound of the car wanting to back fire, so i'm assuming RA's without the cat backfire a bit... confirm this if you could... i'm curious...

It'll sound just the same as the stock cat. You'll see a bit of power gain, but I don't think it'll be too much.

it is louder than the stock dp and cat. I can attest to that as I had the stock exhaust, went to just the dp, and then added the high flow cat to quell the noise a bit. It worked, but it is still much louder than stock. I went to flow through muffler now so no matter what I am loud as hell

Well if i choose to get the RRM dp/header combo i'ma going to have to have a cat welded on, most likely rrm's high flow cat, because Mass requires a cat, and i've been pulled over where they do a visual check and my friend's have gotten screwed for it. Also i want to be able to pass inspections, and if a high flow cat will make it so, or at least make it so i'm closer, then hell yea i'm rockin' one...

I haven't had a CEL yet, but I don't have the header. With all the talk about the piggy back base tune being off some I am beginning to wonder if those of you who have CEL's with the header/dp combo would still get a CEL with a good dyno tune.
