I bought a Magnaflow muffler (14828) and found out its the wrong one . It has a 3 in. inlet and the muffler shop says it is to big of an inlet to work with .I would like to know if a (14829 or 14814) would work it has a 2.5 inlet. The shop says it will still be hard to install because of the sway bar . Does this make any sense? Does anyone have any pictures of their muffler install.

I Have a magnaflow #14335 that is 2.25 inlet/outlet and it fits perfectly. You dont need to go as big as 2.5 in as far as you dont go turbo. Here's the link: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=578

 

True. There is very little space between swaybar /perch and exhaust. 2.25 inch barely fits.
