RRM UDP Question
The RRM *cough* pulley still remains one of the best mods per dollar than you can buy.
The light dimming isssue is normal. I did a full entourage of tests that showed voltage at idle would not really hurt anything. If you have a bumping 50000 watt system the pulley may not be the best for you but by 3k rpm the alternator is providing more than enough power to the system. The alternator is a dynamic device, meaning as the RPM's climb so does the output of the unit. The voltage regulator will control it so at 6k RPM it does not put 130amps into the system which I am sure it is capable of.
The TPS would not be affected by the UDP. I have yet to see one code caused by the the UDP and even solid motor mounts. Your dealer would have to look harder.

I also think the UDP is the best "bang for buck" engine mod you can get.
Oh and Joe, I'd never bag on *cough* RRM's UDP. I just wanted some more confirmation so just in case the stealer notices it on there they don't pull a "Your tire pressure was off by almost a full psi!!! No wonder your tps was affected by the altered wheel speed" type garbage they normally pull. It's the second easiest mod to put on our cars (intakes a little easier but not by much) and I've been screwing my mpg average ever since. It's just hard not to rev a little harder when she wants to go faster
If only every mod made as much of a difference per ~100 bucks!
its a different issue, the 05 ecu update was to do with the vehicle speed sensor.
this is a bug that pops up from time to time on all RA's i know a couple people who ahve had it done.
if it is just the ecu flash im thinking of, it shouldnt take more then 30minutes to do.

Thanks to everyone!
Update on the SES light. The next night after work I started the car and the SES (CEL) went off and hasn't come back since. Maybe cars do take after their owners... I certainly know I didn't want to go to the stealership lol. Might have had something to do with the cold snap we had recently that's temporarilly receeded. Fingers crossed it doesn't come back!
TPS sensor error. I dont' remember which specific code number it was, just what the autozoned guy pulled up and cross ref'd. When I take it in for the 30k valve service I'll maek sure I get the firmware update. Well, that's if it doesn't throw the code again :P Just so anyone reading this doesn't mistake me on this: I never thought the UDP was the cause, I just wanted to make sure Mitsu couldn't deny a claim because of it. The cars back to it's normal tire abusing self allready. My "V8" buddies keep forgetting 'how peppy that little car is' and I still delight in reminding them.
