Sold.

As for headers, we finally got a batch in stock. Just need to ceramic coat them and we will get them shipped ASAP. For some guys that have wanted. Sorry for the delay.

We have lots of other deals. Just call in and ask for Brian. We have been too busy to put a lot of stuff up on the garage sale page.

figure'd i'd put my two cents on this topic case some one searchs for info later..

rrm header(no cat), with magnaflow cat back sounds baaaad... i just finished installing it and i was embarrassed to take my car above 3000rpm and the low end power seems gone, though it could be the lack of throttle to keep from sounding like crap. i'm curious why its only a 4-1 header not a 4-2-1 design

good thing i'll be getting a custom "cat" back made with an aeroturbine muffler that will hopefully shut down that weed wacker noise coming from my car if not high flow cat it is

i'll link some vids later,

oh and i have an injen CAI incase anyone wondering about that

Your muffler will not do the trip. It is all about the cat. Add a cat if the noise bothers you. That will please you.

yeah put a cat on to get rid of the sound. muffler has nothing to do with it, i have the rrm header downpipe combo, i got it from another lancer owner who though it would work for his oz rally that he got from a ralliart ower who put a cat on it, has minor raspyness from inside the cabin but outside just sounds beefy.

If you go back to page 10 I put up the video that has the rrm header/downpipe/hf cat/and their magnaflow catback if you want to know what you'll generally sound like

well just had the 2.5 custom done, aeroturbine 2540i muffler helped alot(car now rumbles instead of standard 4 banger exhaust) little raspy around 3500rpm but not nearly as bad its loud, stuck in a resonator the shop reccomended calmed it down a bit further, figure i'll run the car see if the parts break in and change sound any before i decide to put in a high flow cat

uploading a vid later today once it stops raining

I'm thinking about the RRM header/downpipe + HF cat + catback, but I absolutely hate the fart can noise some cars make.

ex. this video at about 37 seconds, it sounds terrible when he revs the car
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vdJ-9BzZoo

But then there's this video that has the same combination, and it sounds totally badass
http://www.youtube.com/user/dethrock.../4/LN0AoOyD8fg

Anybody know why there's such a drastic difference in sound when both have the same setup?

Well it could possibly be due to climate as well but I'm not sure if me being automatic has anything to do w/ it and the car sounds a little different now as that all the parts have settled in. Its not as raspy as much as it used to be and I'll possibly put up a more recent video if I can find time and hopefully it doesn't sound so terrible

I just noticed in the second video that our exhausts are different. That may have something to do w/ it as the tip of that exhaust is kind of slanted for lack of a better word as well as angled up. Mine is straight so I'm not sure which part number they have but that may have something to do with it

DO the cat but DO NOT do 2.5 inch exhaust. You will lose so much torque.
