Thumbs up RRM Flywheel and ACT Clutch

Got it in the mail TODAY, already installed.... We work like that... All I can say for the moment is wow. Ill post later with a FULL review. The clutch bytes like hell, the flywheel give me wheelspin if I gun first or second, low rpm impact is totally liveable with... to me it was non existent, I find it even better to drive than stock

But stay tuned

P.D. Thanx Rock and the guys at RRM

Ok, first of I need to adjust my clutch pedal, I cant really shift third like I like to. But this thing works real good

Open that throttle and theres instant power, anything over 3.5 k it pulls like crazy... And I dont know what it is... the tach gets past 4.5 k and it just pegs the redline. I thought that it hanged in 4th gear at first, but not the case. It does however dive its nose if you shift to 4th too slowly. The car downright sounds different when on the throttle, it gets up there real quick

The clutch is real strong, I definately need to fill my back mount now, 1-2 shift is lightning fast and strong, emphasis on the word. 2-3 I cant really shift it fast due to cltch adjustment, but even rev matching it pulled crazy quick

Did you even work in your new clutch?
Did you install it you self? How long did it take to do? If you did do it your self was it easy? do you need any special tools or just basic hand tools?
If you took it to a shop, how much did it cost you?
How much km/miles was on the original clutch?
Which clutch did you get? Stage 1 or stage 3?

LISTEN! Please for the love of god!.

BREAK YOUR CLUTCH IN!!!

i was exactly like you "awesome got my clutch and flywheel in. let me beat on my car to see the difference"

DONT DO IT!!! you clutch needs to be baby'd and broken in!!. i had the RRM clutch and flywheel. and i beat on the car the first day i got it. Guess what i did 6 months later? i was putting my stock clutch and flywheel back in. They were both fried.

Never grinded a gear, never road the clutch, never had no problems. Just didnt break it in right, it stopped gripping all together. completly un driveable after 6 months.

TRUST ME!! BREAK IT IN!! It may be fun now to beat on your new toy, but make it last long. BREAK IT IN!!!!

BREAK IT IN!!!

The most I do is open in first gear. and accelerate to pass car in fifth gear, the most I did by doing that was 80...... oh wait, last night i did 130...excuse that one

traction = BAD , but its due to tires. Changed tires today but still an issue, thank God I just changed the front sides, that way I can move them back and put better ones in ...even if I dont like the idea

On the clutch changing, Not really hard, if you ever changed a cltch before, gotta be extra careful separating the tranny form the engine, its the hardest part. Gotta be careful, because the are power steeering lines directly under the rear mount bracket, I almost busted one

I think I would buy the flywheel from RRM but will somebod clarify if you go beyong 300HP is it true it cannot hold the torque curve (do you loose some torque because of it being lightweight>)
